The Edit menu allows the user to perform standard edit functions on question records such as Copy, Cut, Paste, and Delete. The record on which the operation(s) is to be performed must be highlighted in the Designer Tree (left pane) by clicking on it.

If a user wishes to perform Copy, Cut, Paste, Delete and other operations on items in a text field, right-click in the text field to view the available operations. Procedures are all standard Windows compatible.

• Restore (Undo)
  Restores the original version of the question currently displayed, if it has not already been saved.
• Cut
  Prepares the selected record(s) to be cut (and then pasted) by changing the icon(s) to a pair of scissors.
• Copy
  Prepares the selected record(s) to be copied to a destination specified by the Paste function.
• Paste
  Pastes the copied or cut record(s) to a specified location. A location is specified by selecting (clicking on) a record below which the question(s) will be placed. After choosing "Paste" a three step process of naming and resolving conflicting names is initiated in dialogue boxes.
• Delete
  Begins a two-step process of deleting selected records by asking for confirmation and double checking if the records should be deleted.
