DWELLING_HELP

INTERVIEWER:

By permanent residence we mean the place that you call home, that is, where you would return if you are staying at a temporary residence now. Examples of people in this situation might be: college students staying in a dorm or apartment on campus, an inmate in a jail or prison, someone living abroad as a foreign exchange student, etc. When we ask about other persons living in the permanent residence we are asking about other people that live in the permanent residence (the respondent's home) and not those who are currently living with the respondent in the temporary residence, ex. roommates, other inmates, host family, etc.
