Contains the question name of the default next question record that will be displayed in the logical chain of questions. This 'default' question will be the next one in the path, if no conditional jumps are followed. Conditional jumps are those that may be followed, if conditions are specified in the Jump field and, during the interview, one of these conditions is fulfilled by the answer.

If there is a value of NIL is in the Next_Q field, it indicates the last question record in a chain.

Some question types, Select One, Text Entry, Numeric Entry, Slider Entry, Internal Function and Roster Pick One, may contain conditions, such as age restrictions, for example, so that when the respondent gives an answer, the default next question is overridden due to the respondent's age and another logical path is taken.
