Ohio Housing Needs Survey - Content and Modules

The HNS, which contacts a random sample of Ohio adults, consists of eight modules. The questions that are asked depend on housing tenure (homeowner with mortgage/lien, homeowner without mortgage/lien, renter, or other occupant) and geographic location (the eight-county shale region – composed of Belmont, Carroll, Columbiana, Guernsey, Harrison, Jefferson, Monroe, and Noble – or the remaining 80 counties).

Module 1: Script and Consent (all study participants)

Module 2: Demographic Information (all study participants)

Module 3: Homeowner Questions (homeowners only)

Module 4: Renter Questions (renters only for most questions)

Module 5: Affordability Questions (all study participants)

Module 6: Shale Questions (eight-county region residents only)

Module 7: Opinion Questions (all study participants for most)

There is no separate quiz for "Training Module 3: Survey Content." Instead, if you took notes using the "Notes" links above as you read through each section, these notes will be submitted to your trainer(s).
